General Policy
Please read the following terms & conditions carefully. Confirmation of a booking is deemed acceptance of these terms.
Payment : A debit card or credit card will secure your room. Payment is required upon arrival at Fairview, or by pre payment. Please note we do not accept American Express and debit cards are preferred.
Cancellation : If cancellation is received up to 5 days prior to arrival there will be no cancellation charges. If cancellation is received within 5 days of arrival then 50% of your stay will be charged and if cancelled within 24 hours of arrival or no show 100% cancellation charges will apply. We can not give a discount for a stays cut short. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Occupancy: Due to fire regulations, under no circumstances shall the maximum accommodation of each room be exceeded at Fairview.
Travel Arrangements: Fairview is in a quiet village and therefore guests are recommended to provide their own transport. Unfortunately, we are unable to reduce booking charges due to late arrival or early departure.
Pets: We have a no pet policy as we have young children, and our own pets.
Children: Minimum age 18 years old
Smoking: In the interests (hygiene/safety) of other users of Fairview B&B, a strictly non-smoking policy is maintained throughout. There will be additional charges if it is apparant that smoking has taken place inside the B&B rooms, and this is to cover the deep cleaning of soft furnishings. If smoking outside please dispose of cigarette ends responsibly.
Checking in and checking out: Check in is between 4:00pm & 7.00pm on your day of arrival. Late self check in can be arranged up until 10.00pm, please speak with Florence in advance. Accommodation must be vacated no later than 10:30am on your day of departure.
Damage : Accidents happen - please let us know immediately of any damage or spillage so that we can clean or repair. Damage to furniture, beds, bedding and towels will be charged. We reserve the right to recharge you debit / credit card for damage caused. If the room needs to be closed for repair we will seek payment for any future bookings lost during repair. Any item taken from the room without consent will be charged for. Lost keys will incur a £25.00 charge.
Liability: We shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expense, accident, injury, illness or inconvenience whether to person or property which you or any other person may suffer or sustain arising out of or in respect of the letting.
Contract: Your contract is with Florence Sweetman, Fairview, 5 Queenwood Rise, Broughton, Hampshire, SO20 8BS.
